Michael Bassett is a former Labour Party member and cabinet minister. He joined Leighton Smith this morning to discuss the issue everyone is talking about, Jami-Lee Ross and the audio recordings of Simon Bridges.

Bassett believes Ross didn't get the promotion he wanted which is why he feels like he has nothing to lose, and says Simon Bridges made a huge tactical blunder by asking for an inquiry in the first place.
